What is staking?

Staking locks your COOKIE tokens into a smart contract. In return, you earn a percentage yield paid out in COOKIE. Your tokens remain in your self-custody wallet — Morsel never takes custody.

How to stake

  1. Open Morsel and go to the Staking tab.
  2. Tap Stake COOKIE.
  3. Enter the amount you want to stake.
  4. Review the APY and lock period, then tap Confirm.
  5. Approve the transaction with your PIN or biometrics.

Unstaking

You can unstake at any time. Depending on the protocol, there may be an unbonding period of up to 7 days before funds are returned to your wallet.

Staking rewards are auto-compounded every epoch unless you choose manual claim mode.
