What is a self-custody wallet?

Morsel is a self-custody wallet, meaning only you hold the private keys to your funds. No company, including us, can access or recover your wallet.

Creating a new wallet

  1. Open Morsel and tap Create new wallet.
  2. Set a strong PIN or enable biometric unlock.
  3. You will be shown a 12-word seed phrase. Write it down on paper and store it somewhere safe — never take a screenshot.
  4. Confirm your seed phrase by tapping the words in the correct order.
  5. Your wallet is ready. You will see your address on the home screen.
If you lose your seed phrase, you permanently lose access to your wallet. Morsel cannot recover it for you.
