Private Mode, Private Route and Hide balances
Three separate privacy tools. What each one does, and where to find it.
- Private Mode is for apps. While it is on, sites connect to a separate private wallet instead of your main one, so they never see your main address. Turn it on in Settings › Security & privacy.
- Private Route is for sending COOK on Cookie Chain without the recipient seeing your wallet address. Choose it in the Send sheet under Send privacy.
- Hide balances only masks the numbers on your screen. Tap your balance on Home, or use the switch in Settings.
They work independently. Hiding balances does not make anything private on the blockchain.
