I sent tokens to the wrong address

Transfers on a blockchain cannot be reversed. Here is what you can still try, and how Morsel helps you avoid it.

Updated October 5, 2026

Once a transfer is confirmed it cannot be cancelled or reversed, by Morsel or anyone else. Morsel never holds your funds, so there is nothing we can pull back.

What you can try

  • If the address belongs to someone you know, ask them to send it back.
  • If it belongs to an exchange, contact that exchange's support with the transaction link.

Avoid it next time

  • Save people you pay as contacts, or send to their .cook name.
  • Read the warning if Morsel says an address starts and ends like a contact but the middle is different. Scammers create lookalike addresses on purpose.
  • Check the Review step before you confirm.
